💡 Inter-Organizational EAS
Proof of work to build to trust between contributors or organizations

Problem
[Where do funds go?] Funding for resources and skills is a manual review process
(e.g. EF wants to give out grants to developers, they look at proposal, their github/past experiences, but there isn’t a verifiable way to filter candidates/increase accountability and incentive)
[Where are skilled contributors?] Contribution to public goods are hard to share outside of context of the community
(Code for Japan has great contributors whose accomplishments are recognized within the community but hard to be leveraged externally for more opportunuties and shared resources)
[What applications can we use?] EAS is only node to node - has no API/applications for organizations to interact with each entity and consolidate information
If da0 wants to look at what contributors from Code for Japan has done, there’s no easy way to have a bird eyes view
Solution
[Infra] A shared infrastructure layer powered by EAS that allows interoperability and building applications on top
Infrastructure layer organizes EAS by groups
[Applications] Hiring platform, internal issuing platform, user profile UI
but right now, There is no application which support filters by EAS
what we wish there’re application have
linkedin
twitter
voting platform
Smart key
User Story
[Finding the right fit] Soowon’s EF team is looking for developers to help build a ZK system, there are contributors from Code for Japan that built some useful ZK system being used in Japan. Wooson’s able to directly look into the container of Code for Japan EAS system and search other ZK builders and what they have contributed to in other ecosystem/communities.
When the grantee finishes a milestone, another EAS is issued to attest the work and funds they received, proving on-chain “A job was done by this person, and value was transferred to them”
[Shared Context] Soowon doesn’t need to be apart of Code for Japan to be able to understand who is who and who has done what
[Credentials] Anyone can look at Hal’s profile to see where he contributed (code for Japan/Pagoda/EF) to see what he is qualified for
Short Term
Align on core infrastructure, decision on chain/service, schema of attestation
Find communities willing to implement this MVP system to issue credentials for their members
Find valuable credential and resource exchange between these communities thru user research
Build MVP application on top (e.g. Decentralized Job Market, ZK/semaphore voting systems)
